Vikash Varma brings 18 years of multi disciplined experience to Stoke. Vikash has a successful track record of building businesses from the early stages to market leadership. Vikash was most recently the President - Worldwide Sales, Marketing & Field Operations at CloudShield Technologies. Vikash helped establish CloudShield as a leader in the multi-function service control and security market, operating in over 35 countries. Before CloudShield, Vikash was the President - Worldwide Sales and Field Operations at P-Cube Inc. with overall responsibility for Sales, Channels, Partners, Professional Services, and Support. At P-Cube, he successfully grew the business with top tier carriers around the world and established P-Cube as the market leader in IP Service Control solutions. P-Cube was acquired in 2004 by Cisco Systems for $200M. Prior to P-Cube, Vikash was the General Manager at Hewlett-Packard Co. for the Internet Usage Manager (IP Mediation) Software business.

Michael has more than 15 years of experience in developing and executing product strategies and product portfolio management for communication systems within the carrier, enterprise and government sectors. As a senior manager over the last 10 years he has successfully developed and managed a diverse set of product portfolios including integrated wireless networks for Motorola, wired and wireless broadband access solutions for Commworks and IP telephony and soft-switching for 3Com. He possesses a strong technical background and has filed for more than 10 patents.

Matt brings more than 20 years of sales and support leadership in the networking and telecommunications industries to Stoke. Most recently, Matt was responsible for carrier sales for the Americas at Cloudshield where he implemented traffic management solutions for one of the largest carriers in South America, Telemar. Prior to that, Matt served as General Manager, Americas Sales at P-Cube where he increased sales by more than 50 percent in seven consecutive quarters, and established a network of sales channels throughout Latin America. P-Cube was later acquired by Cisco Systems. He opened the European and Asian sales and support offices for Tellabs, and Matt was responsible for international sales at Centigram. Matt holds a MA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona.

Mark has more than 20 years of global sales and BD success in diverse areas of telecommunications and Internet software technologies. He was most recently VP of Partner Programs at NewStep Networks where he developed strategic relationships with leading telecom equipment manufacturers. Mark co-founded and served as CEO of PlateSpin, Inc., and held senior management positions with Microsoft Canada, EveryWare Development, and CrossComm Corporation.

Venkat is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of business management and financial experience. Most recently, Venkat served at Swan Labs where his sound fiscal practices played a major role in the company's successful acquisition by F5. Before joining Swan Labs, Venkat was Corporate Controller at P-Cube, where he was a hands-on leader responsible for the company's accounting and financial management until its acquisition by Cisco in 2004. Prior to P-Cube, Venkat worked as the Director of Finance at Certicom Corp. (TSX: CIC) and played an instrumental role in the company's Nasdaq IPO. Venkat holds a Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Paul brings over 20 years of operations, supply chain and engineering experience in telecom, high-end computing and wireless hardware products to Stoke. Before joining Stoke, Paul led Manufacturing Operations for several successful, high technology start-ups including Good Technology, purchased by Motorola for over $450M. Paul was previously Director of Materials at 3COM corporation, responsible for the supply chain strategy supporting 3COM's west coast systems assembly operations. Prior to 3COM, Paul held senior operations and engineering positions in Digital Equipment Corporation's international supply chain and engineering organizations. Paul holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University of New York.

Randall Kruep founded Stoke in early 2004, and led the company through its early stage of growth as CEO until February 2007.

Dan Warmenhoven is the chief executive officer of Network Appliance, Inc., a leader in enterprise data management and open network storage solutions. Under Warmenhoven's leadership, Network Appliance has grown to become a multi-billion dollar company and is now recognized as a market leader in network storage - a concept the company helped pioneer.

Dennis Barsema has more than twenty years of executive experience in telecommunications, software, and optical networking. Dennis was previously the CEO and Chairman of Onetta, Inc., and led the company through the early stages of development and growth. Onetta was recently acquired by Bookham Technologies of London, England. Before joining Onetta, Dennis was the president and CEO of Redback Networks, where he led the company through rapid growth and one of the most successful IPOs in Wall Street history. Dennis serves on the board of directors of several venture-funded companies, and serves as a director on several non-profit boards including Northern Illinois University Foundation, and Carpenters Place of Rockford, Illinois.

Gaurav Garg focuses on semiconductor and systems investments. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2001, Gaurav was a Founder and Senior Vice-President of Product Management at Redback Networks (RBAK). Earlier, Gaurav held various engineering positions at SynOptics and Bay Networks. Gaurav has a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.

Stephen has broad management experience in the technology industry as an entrepreneur, manager, active investor and advisor for emerging information technology and telecommunications companies for more than two decades. He has led hardware and software products and services companies and divisions, working across many functional areas including technology and engineering management; operations; and sales and marketing strategy.

Matt Murphy is a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; he joined in 1999. His focus areas of investment include communications and computing infrastructure, mobile applications, and semiconductors. Matt is either a Director or works closely with the management teams of IPUnity, RGB Networks, Stoke, Peakstream, Xsigo, Dash, Kodiak Networks, eASIC, Scintera, and M2Z. Previously he worked with and was a board observer at Google (from initial investment to IPO), Kymata (acquired by Alcatel), and Sigma Systems (acquired by Liberate).

Before co-founding DAG, Tom was a principal at Bechtel Investments, where he was responsible for overseeing a number of management buyouts of mid-size growth companies and special situation investments. He was formerly a co-founder and Vice President of Dimensional Corporate Finance, Inc., a specialty corporate finance company with significant financial backing from Xerox. Prior to this, Tom served as an independent consultant to the office of the Chairman of Bank of America and as a consultant with the Stanford Research Institute. Tom holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
