Strategic Partnership Integrates Stoke Session Exchange into Net One's NGN Solution Portfolio

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - February 4, 2008 - Stoke, Inc., a leading developer of multi-access convergence gateways for network operators, today announced that it has formed a strategic reseller alliance with Net One Systems, Japan's leading networking and systems integration provider. Under the terms of the agreement, Net One will integrate the Stoke Session Exchange multi-access gateway to deliver advanced session management for carriers transitioning to next generation IP network infrastructures. Net One will leverage their extensive national presence to develop the Japanese market for multi-access IP session management solutions.

Net One's reputation for continually integrating the most advanced technologies into their overall solution portfolio has made them a leading reseller and supplier to the Japanese service provider market. Japan represents one of the most technically advanced communications markets in the world, with leading edge mobile service offerings and a subscriber base expected to exceed 105 million by 2009. Carrier spending on next generation networking (NGN) hardware and software is forecasted to surpass $5 billion USD over the next three years. Recognizing the need to meet the advanced requirements of innovative carriers, Net One chose the Stoke Session Exchange (SSX) because it is the only product of its kind purpose-built to perform converged IP session management over multiple access technologies - including fixed, cellular, Wi-Fi and WiMAX. This agreement with Stoke supports Net One's mission to provide the most advanced technology for its client companies and enable carriers to navigate the rapidly evolving network edge. Net One's integration center in Tokyo showcases their advanced NGN reference architectures - and will include innovative services demonstrations based on the Stoke Session Exchange.

"The Stoke Session Exchange addresses some of the most critical contemporary requirements of our service provider customers, namely the need to provide common IP session management over a range of network access technologies," said Mr. Tomohiro Iwamoto, general manager of network technology operations at Net One Systems. "With Stoke, we can offer clients a breadth of converged session management capabilities in a single system. The platform is extremely well suited to address the rapid transformation happening at the edge of carrier networks in Japan."

With the increasing emergence of multimedia applications, operators are searching for new technologies to efficiently transition from basic voice and data services running on dedicated networks, to multimedia services that harness the power of the latest generation of broadband access technologies. The SSX creates an easy, cost-effective way for network operators to deploy the next generation of broadband multimedia services to subscribers regardless of how they access the network. As a result, carriers can provide their customers with the best possible mobile Internet experience.

"Net One's track record for delivering the industry's best networking solutions has helped establish the company as a premier systems integrator in Japan," said Vikash Varma, President and CEO, Stoke, Inc. "This agreement creates a tremendous market opportunity for Stoke, underscoring the significance of multi-access solutions in the one of the most important telecommunications markets in the world. We are very pleased to be working with Net One in Japan."
